In this brief paper, the presenters propose a thesis that argues for or against a theme in the reading. You must show what difference your argument makes for other key dimensions of the book’s argument . Don’t summarize what the book says. Please state your thesis in the first paragraph. You should argue your thesis in a way that gets us deep into the middle of the book’s argument. You do use citations and analyses of what the book says to support your thesis, in parentheses, like this: (p. 22 and 273). Use the tools for analysis to show how this thesis relates to various sections of the book.
