This is a Critical analysis paper. It should focus on a particular symbol or image present in the novel. What does the symbol mean? Why does the author use it? What point he is trying to make using that particular symbol? Also, analyze some aspects of the novel For example: Why is a metaphor or some other literature figure is used. In other words the paper is a critical analysis, the book “Home To Harlem” should be picked apart and interpreted. Things to AVOID: plot summaries, we shouldn’t simply retell the story or plot line. . The paper should be 5 pages minimum, in MLA format.
