In your ROTK folder, create a google doc titled, “Socratic Seminar #1.” Include all 5 of your questions (and sub-questions) and answers in your document. Your answers to the questions should contain evidence to support your points and include examples from recent chapters of the book. In other words, avoid asking questions that have already been answered and explored. When appropriate, include sub-questions that might help generate discussions. These are more for interpretive type questions. For the question “How do women exhibit strength and power,” you might want to ask the sub-question, “Does their marital status affect their power or strength?” Or “Who are the women who exhibit power and strength?” You may use bullet point answers and don’t have to incorporate quotes into sentences. Your answers should, however, be self explanatory and reader friendly, so you do need to explain why a particular quote is significant.
