This individual assignment asks you to create a concept map that that (i) explores the connection between history and justice in Canada, and (ii) the connection between various historical events. It counts fifteen (15) per cent towards your final course grade. You may construct your concept maps using software like Word or PowerPoint or specialized concept mapping software like bubbl.us You may review examples of concept maps and I will offer few a examples in case you have never seen one before. You will have a choice for the concept map topic: Option 1: Name five (5) historical events since 1867 that have influenced Canadian culture. Explain why. Option 2: Choose a topic in Canadian history (since 1867) that shaped contemporary understanding of the modern (Canadian) concept of justice and/or culture.
