The medical profession has been involved in the violation of international human rights, e.g., the death penalty, torture, and medical experimentation. Write an essay in which you analyze the ethical implications of doctors being involved in serious violations of human rights. In your view are existing domestic and international standards adequate to the task of regulating physicians? What policy changes would you recommend? Arguing: Physicians should not be forced to help people who have been tortured etc. that are going to only be tortured further once they recover. They are not breaking any human rights violations while doing this they are only looking out for the best overall interest of their patient.
