Take a position about whether we should we be hopeful or pessimistic about ongoing and impending global climate change over the course of your lifetime. You should have (1) a thesis or topic statement at the end of your introductory paragraph about what your position/thesis is, (2) the body of the essay should include what seems to be going on with respect to climate change, reasons/evidence for both future hope and pessimism, and finally (3) an explanation of why overall, your stance/position is the correct one (this could be your conclusion).
