A screening response (SR) is your brief critical response to whatever film(s) we’ve screened the previous week. They are due to Turnitin.com the Tuesday after we finish screening a film, and they must be turned in on time in order for you to receive credit. (I’ll expect you to have them available to you for our Tuesday discussions, so that you’re never at a loss for a critical take on a film when we discuss it.) In them, you should explain to me how these films address the issues of the course, and what you found particularly significant about them in terms of form, narrative, or issues of representation. They are not reviews or evaluations; whether you enjoyed a screening or presentation is less important than what you can observe about it. To this end, they should be more about the ideas in a screening or presentation and your further exploration of those ideas than about the screening or presentation itself. Keep these lean and mean, and keep them to 1,000 words or less. let me know if u need an example with his critique
