Watch the TRAILER for your favorite film from the last five years. Write an analysis, at least 2 pages in length. Provide a link to the trailer at the beginning of the analysis. Answer some of the following questions: Was it effective? Did it excite you and make you want to watch the movie? You’ve already seen the film, so looking back at the trailer, talk about which scenes or shots the editor selected and why. What was the editing style? Fast-paced and energetic? Slow and deliberate? Were there lots of quick cuts or did it linger on shots? What devices did they use? Voice over? Titles/text? Motion graphics? Were those techniques in line with the style of the film? As a fan of the film, what do you think could have been changed about the trailer to make it better?
