Read Chapter 14 and answer the following questions. Make sure you respond to at least TWO of your peers’ responses as well (due upcoming Saturday). 1) Pick one clause or amendment in the Bill of Rights; paraphrase it for the class. Are controversies surrounding this clause or amendment? What is your informed opinion on these controversies? What should citizens be doing in light of these controversies? What should government do? 2) Identify one news story involving the Bill of Rights. ( You can access such stories from sources such as CNN, FOX, or TIME – just to name a few). Give us your informed opinion on the issue by citing evidence from the article and discussing your opinion on that evidence.
