China has been developing its military power and will soon be able to challenge the status quo and pursue regional hegemony.Faced with the reality of Chinese aggression its neighbors have no choice but to respond with a policy of unyielding force and containment. As defenders of the status quo, its neighbors cannot afford to give in to any of the demands of a revisionist power. China’s reckless policy of expansion will harm American interests and will put it on an unavoidable collision course with the United States. There is nothing anyone can do to stop the inevitable coming conflict.”
