This case study comes from the following book: Reeves, T. Z. (2006). Cases in human resource management (2nd ed.). Belmont, CA: Thomson Wadsworth. Once you have read the case study, write a 3-4 page paper (although feel free to write more if you want) that addresses the following topics/questions. [Note: Do not answer the questions listed at the end of the case study — answer the questions listed below.] Be sure your paper fully explains your ideas, using points from the case study, as well as the required readings (and other appropriate sources). Specifically, include 3 in-text citations in APA format to course materials in support of your analysis. Your paper must be in APA format and include a cover page, a reference page, be double-spaced, with 12-point font, and 1” margins. List each topic/question or provide section headings for each topic listed in the instructions. 1) Identify and explain the strongest and weakest points for the labor team; based on those points, explain what approach to the negotiations should be taken by the labor team. 2) Identify and explain the strongest and weakest points for the management team; based on those points, explain what approach to the negotiations should be taken by the management team. 3) Explain how the factors in public sector management-labor negotiations impact, or might impact, the collective bargaining process in this situation. 4) What do you see as the most likely outcome in this bargaining process? Explain. Your Case Study Analysis paper does not need to be in the form of an essay — however, you should list each topic/question or provide section headings for each topic listed in the instructions. Be sure that your paper fully explains the ideas presented, using points from the case study, as well as the required readings (and/or other appropriate sources).
