The goal of the research paper is to explore the opportunity of starting a multinational corporation in an industry of your choice in a less-developed or developing country and to discuss which globalization processes, flows and structures should be researched and taken into consideration when establishing the business. A paper should include the following sections: 1. Basic Information about the country: Location, demographics, population culture, major industry, government, economic growth, major exports and imports and foreign investment. 2. The chosen industry and product details 3. The vision, mission and goals of the multinational corporation 4. Economic flows in the country (competition, trade, outsourcing, consumer change in tastes, member of a trade agreement if applicable ) 5. Political structures and processes in the country (presence of the United Nations if any, foreign aid, member of and assistance from World organizations if applicable, relations with other nations to maintain political stability) 6. Technology flows (media, Internet and level of technology impacting production, sales and advertising of the product) 7. Cultural flows (customs, traditions, languages and other cultural traits) 8. Environmental flows (social responsibility, pollution , sustainability, climate change) 9. How would the multinational corporation contribute to the country’s economy? 10. What strategies should the corporation incorporate to succeed in the global economy? The paper should be 10 pages (double-spaced) in length (excluding cover and reference pages) and should include a minimum of eight (8)) references.
