Discuss the potential audiences for a marketing plan (not specifically your plan) and state what their interest/needs would be in knowing the plan’s details Chosen Market Segment. Discuss the general market for your product/service, present figures to show the annual sales levels of the whole market, the general growth trends of the market for recent years, and identify some of the existing segments of that market, and identify the segment you will focus on and why Chosen Target Market – Identify the marketing segment you will target for your product. This will be a more focused market as compared to the Market segment. You should include demographics such as age, sex, income. You can include other demographics if appropriate. You must provide a rationale supporting your target market. This is a research paper. You are expected to do research outside of the class material. You will be expected to have at least 2 unique sources for each section (a total of 8). Wiki’s and blogs are not a valid academic sources. In fact the only “pedias” that are acceptable will have the words “World Book” or “Britannica” in the name. Dictionary.com and other site that provide definitions are not acceptable academic sources. While I do not like setting a minimum length for this paper, I expect significant effort put into this paper. Simply answering the about questions will NOT earn you a passing grade on this paper. Every section of this paper will have citations to support all information you provide. You must defend your opinion using facts and logic gained in this class. You will use APA format for all citations and reference page. In addition to showing an understanding for the subject matter, spelling and grammar will be considered in your final grade.
