The report will be an individual piece of work which enables students to put into practice elements of their review and importantly show their ability and understanding of either/or both qualitative and quantitative analysis. The report is based on the assessment 1 review and designed to encourage students to work and undertake research and analysis independently. The length of the report should be a maximum of 1425 words +/-10% plus appendix. Please note the second assessment is a report so headings/sub headings are expected. See guide/structure below. Present quotes from qualitative sources clearly. c) Use business theory/literature/statistical test to understand and analyse your data 3.0 Conclusion a) What are your findings? b) Where the objectives met and if so what has been learnt. 5.0 References (not included in word count – do review referencing guide) 6.0 Appendix (not included in word count) a) Should include a blank version of the questionnaire if used or interview/focus group questions used Appendix cannot include analysis discussion but can include definitions, tables of data, summaries of data, spreadsheet analysis. Some errors. – Referencing especially in the later sections contains some minor errors. – Executive Summary (should summarise whole report) – Research Analysis in this older version of the assessment is longer than expected for yours to be submitted in 2019. – Analysis will depend on your data collection/methodology approaches. Attachment 1 Few helpful points about references and referencing in this report: BBC, newspapers are not academic sources. They are primariliy secondary data source literature. When referring to the seven steps of hypothesis testing you might include Curwin and Slater reference used by Washad in the lectures.
