In this paper the student will assess communications role in trust before, during, and after a crisis. First, build upon your work in the forum for this week. Explain what role decision making and communication play in disaster management. Keeping with the theme of this course consider this question form a holistic viewpoint and give attention to multi-level coordination during the planning, preparedness, and response phase of disaster management. Be sure to examine the various communication modes which could or should be used in developing and maintaining trust with all stakeholders. Finally, consider the fact that it is likely your internal or external stakeholder audience will have culturally diverse backgrounds. The student will write a minimum of three full pages. The student will use a minimum of two references (one of which may be the textbooks).
