Instructions: To help you become familiar with doing research and using APA, you will need to write a 4-page paper (does not include a title page or reference page) on the Proctor & Gamble case on pages 166-167 in the textbook. Use the title page, format, and headings provided in the example paper. Every person in the class should have the same headings for this paper as the instructions are to use the ones provided. The paper must follow APA format (with the exception that an abstract will not be needed). You should include a one paragraph introduction (see example paper). The body should answer the questions in the case. Use the headings in the sample paper. You will need to use paragraph format. The paper should end with a conclusion and recommendations based on your research and analysis. YouTube videos must be cited but will not be included in the total number of sources. In your paper, you will address the following areas: Title page – Use APA format, this means 12 point font, Times New Roman. Introduction – Introduces the paper and briefly summarizes major issues. One paragraph (3-4 sentences). Discussion (Answer the Case questions): There are 5 questions and you need to address each question. Do NOT type out the questions. Apply the concept of benefit segmentation to three of the different product forms (e.g. – air effects, candles, fabric refresher, wax melts, etc.) (approximately 1/2 page) Conclusion & Recommendations – Briefly summarize your discussion and make recommendations based on your analysis and research (approximately 1/2 page) References – References should be in APA format. You may list the textbook as a source, but it will not count as one of the two required database sources or an Internet source. The textbook is NOT research. If you choose to cite information from the company’s website, this is considered as only 1 source (even if you use multiple pages from the website). You are not allowed to use Wikipedia as or blogs or other editable Internet cites as citations.
