Advertising Campaign – Over the term, you will develop an IMC campaign for an assigned product. Your final document will be targeted as though you are pitching it to a client and formatted as though you were presenting it as a proposal. It should be free of typos, graphically appealing and professional in nature. The final plan should be double-spaced, 8 to 10 pages in length, including charts and supporting materials, if any. Or, if you are creative, you can do a video of your presentation instead. You also have the option of formatting it in Powerpoint or another presentation program as long as you include audio. Remember, this is a pitch to a potential client. As a minimum, the key elements of your report for the client should include: Executive Summary (write this last) Situational Analysis (this should include a SWOT analysis, industry analysis and competitive analysis) Campaign goals and objectives (be specific about what you want to accomplish with the campaign) Target Audience (be very specific — include psychographic information as well as demographic) Creative Objectives and Strategies (what is the point of your message? what are you trying to convey and how will you send out your message? Media Budget (you have to do some research for this, but you can get an idea of how much it will cost) Media Mix (specific information about what media you will use) Implementation Schedule (timing of the campaign) Campaign Evaluation Plan (what metrics will you use to see if you have been successful??
