Critical Thinking/Evidence Based Nursing Concept Paper 1. Select one clinical issue that you encountered during the semester to develop a comprehensive review of the literature (based on a nursing conceptual model) to determine the best nursing practice for the specific nursing concept you identified. The paper should include: 2. An introduction which includes the purpose of the paper, the description of the nursing care concept identified, and the intended flow of the paper. 3. A review of current literature (not more than five years) detailing the recommended nursing care for the client problem and rationale (At least five nursing journals must be referenced). 4. Summary statement which includes a brief summary of the paper, and your recommendation for best nursing practice based on the literature reviewed. No new information can be presented in the summary statement. 5. The paper should be typed, free of spelling and grammatical errors and the body of the paper should be no longer than five pages in length. 6. Title page, abstract, page numbers and references are expected in APA format (6th edition). No plastic covers or folders, use a simple staple. 7. Examples of concepts: Empathy, creativity, power, transcendence, trust, hope, presence, insight.
