The final Portfolio Project requires that you develop a legal handbook for new employees of a healthcare organization, looking specifically at your choice of healthcare provider.

In a well-organized outline format, create a PowerPoint presentation that first defines the organization in which you are using to develop the handbook. Provide the organization’s name, type, size, location, and the licensing organization.

Then, identify the type of healthcare provider or organization for which you are choosing to establish this handbook (e.g., For Profit, Not for Profit, Charity, Government, etc.). Choose applicable state and federal laws, as well as credentialing and ethical guidelines for your legal handbook. Include rationales for why you have selected these particular choices using other healthcare facilities as comparisons.

Your PowerPoint presentation should meet the following requirements:

• Be well-written and organized, using professional themes and transitions.
• Consist of 4-5 slides including the title and reference slides.
• Include slide notes of 75 words or more per slide.
• Support your assignment with at least 2-4 scholarly, legislative, or court references (of which the textbook may be one). Use current sources, not older than 5 years. The CSU-Global Library is a good place to find these references.
